Jon Miskavige is the co-founder and president/CEO of both Northridge Hospitality Management and its sister company, Northridge Construction. Starting his career as a licensed electrician, his introduction into the construction industry began with hands-on field experience and quickly grew to that of project management and execution in all building types, including residential and commercial projects. Today, he serves as the company’s expert in construction management.
Miskavige is also the founder of JM Homes, a residential home building company in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Since the business started in 2008, he has completed more than a dozen multi-family buildings, as well as a student housing facility and two senior living facilities.
Carlson is the co-founder and executive vice president of both Northridge Hospitality Management and Northridge Construction. He was pivotal in the development of Northridge Hospitality Management, helping to develop, build and manage the company’s very first hotel in 2011. Since then, he has been instrumental in opening more than a dozen additional properties in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Nebraska. He is also heavily involved in Northridge Construction, playing an important role in the design review and budgeting process, helping to ensure quality control on each and every project.
Carlson is also a pilot, having earned a degree in commercial aviation, flight instruction certificates and his airline transport pilot’s license from the University of North Dakota, the country’s top flight school. Carlson remains active as a pilot, operating the company’s Cirrus SR22 for business operations.
Jeremy Miskavige is the vice president of both Northridge Hospitality Management and Northridge Construction. With more than a decade of experience in the construction industry, Miskavige boasts a diverse portfolio that provides invaluable expertise on every project. He is primarily responsible for project management, field operations and equipment management, but his past experience allows him to extend his support in the field as well.
Miskavige also serves as the vice president of JM Homes.
Molly Hartman is the vice president of risk management for both Northridge Construction and Northridge Hospitality Management. She joined the company in 2014 as the director of human resources, and today she oversees all of the operations for human resources, safety, insurance and payroll for all of Northridge Hospitality Management’s hotels and Northridge Construction. She also serves as the company’s safety director. Hartman has a MBA in human resources and 10 years of combined human resources and management experience. Her expertise lies in recruitment, employee relations, human resources law, management tools, and she is a benefits specialist.
In addition, Hartman is also an adjunct professor for Rasmussen College teaching human resources and organizational management classes.
Bob Margheim is the vice president of hospitality for Northridge Property Management. He began working with the company in 2012 as the director of operations and brought with him more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry and more than thirty years in the management industry, offering a unique perspective on every project he works with.
Penny Jo Zola is the controller for both Northridge Hospitality Management and Northridge Construction. She oversees all of the company’s accounting practices, fiscal record maintenance, annual budgets and banking activities. In addition, Zola prepares financial reports for both internal and external sources, and she is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records within both the general ledger systems and internal accounting controls.
Zola has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the Construction Financial Management Associate (CFMA) and the North Dakota Society of CPAs. She also volunteers for the Grand Forks/East Grand Forks United Way as the organization’s treasurer.
